Managing Director for new NPL investment company
Are you a strategic visionary with a passion for turning challenges into opportunities, ready to take the lead in the high-stakes world of non-performing loans (NPLs)? We’re looking for a Managing Director who combines strong business acumen, industry experience, and entrepreneurial drive and wants to make a lasting impact in the debt investment market by shaping the future of our newly started NPL investment company.
The NPL investment company will be a part of the Fairlo group and you will work closely together with the whole Fairlo team, so even though you will be managing a new company, you will be part of a very friendly and supportive team with an established platform, extensive network and financial security.
About the Role
As Managing Director, you’ll further develop a very exciting strategy and execute a forward-thinking opportunity that will steer our company toward success. You’ll oversee all company operations, establish key partnerships, and ensure sustainable funding, while sourcing and optimizing NPL portfolios for maximum returns.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy: Build and implement a long-term strategy to position the company as a leader in NPL investments.
Operational oversight: Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and alignment with our goals.
Partnership development: Set up strong partnerships and create a robust infrastructure for effective debt collection.
Funding strategy: Secure sustainable funding solutions and in addition to executing on existing funding opportunities, also research and identify further possibilities to drive investment growth.
Portfolio acquisition & management: Identify, evaluate, and acquire high-potential NPL portfolios, and optimize their management for optimal returns.
Innovation: Bring a creative approach to portfolio investment cases, driving innovative solutions and growth.
What You’ll Need
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field; an MBA or Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years in NPL acquisition, distressed asset management, or a related field, with strong knowledge of debt collection markets, trends, and regulations.
- Exceptional analytical skills and proficiency in Excel. A broad network in debt collection is advantageous.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, self-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English and Swedish
