Their mother had been misled by a large bank, and instead of being offered a lifeline, she was pushed further into financial difficulties. Are you our next Senior Product Manager?
As our new Senior Product Manager, you’ll join a mission-driven company where your work truly matters. This is a rare opportunity to step into a pivotal role at a fast-growing scale-up, where you’ll drive both strategic direction and hands-on execution.
We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager on a high career trajectory and an entrepreneurial mindset - someone eager to grow with the role and elevate both the product and the team. With a passion for innovation, strategy, and customer-centric solutions, you’ll play a key role in Fairlo’s next chapter as we work toward becoming the world’s most flexible and transparent lender. Some of the things you’ll do:
Opportunity identification - To expand our offerings through new products, product bundling, and differentiated value propositions.
Product / customer understanding- Understand our current products and customers in detail (don’t leave anything to chance) so we build things that matter.
Data - Use data to make decisions and push product improvements throughout the full product life cycle to drive key metrics in the right direction.
Innovation - Drive product innovation, including personalisation, automation, and use of alternative data.
Breakdown features into tickets - You’ll be comfortable creating tickets with the tech team to break new features and initiatives into tickets the tech team can implement.
Research - Analyse customer and market data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities in financial services and lending products. Lead market assessments, competitor analysis, and customer research to inform investment decisions.
Roadmap - Own, lead and manage the product roadmap, ensuring stakeholders are involved and updates are communicated.
Collaboration - Work with other teams to ensure all product decisions align with regulatory and industry standards.
Leadership - Manage the product and design team to foster collaboration across the business and strive for excellence.
What we believe you bring:
5+ years of product leadership experience specifically within credit, lending, fintech, or digital banking.
Proven experience managing product P&Ls, financial performance, and strategic commercial decision-making.
Strong understanding of credit risk, pricing strategies, and regulatory compliance.
Passion for fairness, financial inclusion, and responsible lending.
Even better if you also have:
Experience from a credit institute or niche bank.
Worked with Open Banking/PSD2 data.
Experience in exploring and developing AI/ML solutions.
Have a deep understanding of payment solutions.
Where you'll work
