Meet Ilida Antonia Nikolaou, our Office manager in Heraklion.

What's your background?
I have a master in business administration, and have previously worked in finance, internal audit, and event coordination. My career has taken me through multinational organisations and large-scale event operations - giving me a solid foundation in structure, compliance, planning, organisation and effective collaboration. Along the way, I’ve learned that I thrive in roles where I can bring clarity and warmth to a workplace.

What do you do at Fairlo?
I’m office manager for our Heraklion hub, which means I take care of everything that makes the office run smoothly and the environment to feel inspiring. My days include coordinating suppliers, making sure the space is welcoming, preparing the office for the day, and handling practical tasks that keep everything organised and comfortable. I also arrange events and support with anything from arranging breakfasts to helping colleagues with travels or logistics. My goal is to create a workplace and culture where people feel supported, relaxed and able to focus on what they do best.

What made you want to join Fairlo?
I was drawn to Fairlo’s story, values, and the opportunity to help build something meaningful in the local tech community. Fairlo wants to be a great employer in Heraklion and to contribute positively to the ecosystem around us. The Office Manager role is an important part of that - creating a workplace where people feel at home, connected, and proud to belong. Being able to support that mission, and to help shape a hub where both people and ideas can grow, is what made joining Fairlo an easy decision for me.
