Kalliopi Stratigi
Office manager – People & CultureMeet Kalliopi Stratigi, our Office Manager in Heraklion
What made you want to join Fairlo as our Office Manager in Heraklion?
I actually knew Fairlo before I applied, as I had been to the Heraklion office for the GetHiredLive event. I remember really liking the atmosphere – there was something about the energy, the people and the space that made me want to know more and explore how I could be part of it. I’m a natural organiser and I genuinely enjoy creating environments where people feel good and everything runs smoothly. For me, the Office Manager role brings those things together. I love the idea that the things I do every day can shape how people experience their workplace and make it somewhere they genuinely enjoy being.
People around you seem to know you as the person who makes things happen. Is that how you see yourself too?
Definitely! My friends actually call me the “travel leader” because I’m usually the one organising our trips, and I tend to be the person arranging birthdays, plans and everything in between. I love bringing people together and thinking about the little details that turn something ordinary into a great experience. I think a lot of that comes from my genuine interest in people – understanding what makes them feel comfortable, included and happy. That’s also what excites me about this role: creating an office where people feel welcome, where things simply work, and where the thoughtful touches make it feel like more than just a place you come to work.
You’re also completing an MBA in Sustainability and have a background in Marketing. Where do you hope your journey at Fairlo will take you?
I’m curious by nature and love learning, so I hope my journey at Fairlo will take me in directions I might not even know yet. Right now, I’m really excited to make the Office Manager role my own and create the best possible experience for the team in Heraklion. At the same time, one of the things that attracted me to Fairlo is the opportunity to grow by taking initiative, being curious and following what you’re passionate about. Over time, I’d love to explore more within areas like People & Culture, employer branding, events or sustainability – and keep finding new ways to contribute as both Fairlo and I grow.
