Meet Alexandros Rasidakis, our Frontend Engineer.

What do you do at Fairlo?

I’m a Frontend Engineer focused on building clean, intuitive, and high-performing user interfaces. My goal is to make Fairlo’s products feel simple and human - translating complex financial ideas into seamless digital experiences.

You spent several years in Berlin - what made you decide to move back to Crete?

Berlin was an amazing chapter - I worked in the tech industry there for several years, surrounded by innovation, fast-paced projects and a truly multicultural environment. After I felt I had completed my cycle there, I realized how much I missed Crete’s culture - my family, friends, the island, and the sense of balance that comes with living here. Coming back felt right. Finding Fairlo made it even better - it’s rare to discover a company that’s both innovative and people-centered, right here in Greece.

What excites you most about working in tech at Fairlo?

Fairlo combines purpose with innovation. I love being part of a team that’s constantly experimenting, using modern frameworks, and finding smarter ways to solve real problems. There’s a strong sense of trust and ownership - you get the freedom to explore, learn, and contribute to something that truly makes a difference. The culture here is amazing and adds a fresh positive presence, contributing meaningfully to Crete’s tech scene.

What inspires you in your work?

I’m inspired by practical problem solving. I enjoy breaking down unclear challenges, finding the logic behind them, and shaping solutions that help people. What gives me satisfaction is that I love building products that people use and seeing that what I coded and built is having an impact in their daily lives.
