What inspired you to join Fairlo?
“I’ve spent over 12 years working across financial accounting, payroll, tax, controlling, and reporting, both in international companies and in my own business. What drew me to Fairlo was the chance to use that experience to build something meaningful - not just keeping the books in order, but creating a finance function that supports growth and long-term resilience. Doing things thoroughly, being open, and caring about people felt like the perfect match with both my skills and my mindset.”

What excites you most about your work?
“What excites me most is the feeling of getting things right - when the books balance, the reports are solid, and everything is in order. Accuracy brings clarity, and that clarity creates trust. But it’s also about people. I love supporting the business with financial insights, guiding my team to feel competent and engaged, and making the organisation stronger through reliable processes. And sometimes, it’s as simple as lighting a few candles in the office to make it a little cozier.”

What role does finance play in shaping Fairlo's future?
“Finance is both a safeguard and a catalyst. As we enter an important new chapter, our role is to build the foundation the rest of the company can scale from - processes that are compliant, efficient, and robust enough to support big ambitions. By turning data into clear insights, we enable bold decisions with confidence. At the same time, finance sets the tone for transparency, structure, and care. My goal is for finance at Fairlo to be more than a support function: a driver that makes the whole organisation stronger, more resilient, and ready for the exciting future ahead.”
