Meet Louise, our Finance Manager

After several years in consultancy, what made Fairlo feel like the right next step for you?
Consultancy pushed me to grow quickly and taught me to take ownership and responsibility early on. But after a few years, I felt ready to go deeper - to focus on one company, be part of the journey and contribute long-term instead of constantly switching between clients. Fairlo stood out because there’s a strong drive and clear goals here, while people also genuinely care about each other and about creating a sustainable work environment. That balance was very important to me.

And from a finance perspective, it’s an incredibly exciting time to join. Being part of a company transitioning into a bank is a unique opportunity, and I’m really looking forward to growing and contributing during such an important phase.

What kind of work culture brings out the best in you?
I thrive in environments where people trust each other, take ownership and collaborate closely. For me, the best workplaces are ambitious and efficient, but also humble, supportive and approachable. People do their best work when they feel safe sharing ideas, asking questions and learning together.

I also really appreciate Fairlo’s focus on wellbeing and balance. It creates a healthier and more sustainable energy in the workplace. And I’m very excited to join the Fairlo Bootcamp sessions soon - I love initiatives that bring people together outside of day-to-day work.

What are you most excited about stepping into this role?
Fairlo is in such an exciting phase right now, and it feels very motivating to join a company where there’s both strong momentum and a real opportunity to grow together. I’m excited to become part of the business in a more long-term way and really build something together with the team. I enjoy creating structure, improving processes through digitalization and making things run smoothly, so I’m looking forward to contributing with that experience while continuing to learn more about the business as a whole.
